Tucked away in a hilltop clearing on 77 acres adjacent to nearly 1800 acres of wildlife preserve where the scenic Maquoketa River flows, Pictured Rocks United Methodist Camp & Retreat Center was established in 1960 as a summer camp and year-round retreat center. Pictured Rocks has been described by visitors as a place of refreshment and peace. We have 4 lodges/cabins available as well as a spacious tent and trailer area with electrical hookups, shelter, shower house and playground for individual and group rentals. Facilities are available to retreat groups, family reunions, business rentals and other gatherings through out the year. Pictured Rocks U.M. Camp is proud to be American Camp Association accredited.

The area is a “dry” area, meaning no alcohol is allowed on the premises.
Directions: Hwy 151, take exit 65. Turn onto Hwy 38 South towards the airport. Go approximately 4 miles turn East (left) onto 190th Street (blacktop) go 11/2 miles, Pictured Rocks UM Camp is on the north (left) side of the road.
