For boys and girls ages 7 to 16 (grades 1-10), Camp Tall Timbers is the perfect opportunity to enjoy life on their own. For parents, it is the worry-free answer to the question, "How will I entertain them all summer long?"

Camp Tall Timbers, located in High View, West Virginia, is truly a family affair. Founded in 1970 by Executive Director Jerry Smith, today, his son Glenn serves as Camp Director and manages all aspects of the operation year round. Together they bring over 50 years of camp experience to Camp Tall Timbers.

Accredited by the American Camp Association, Camp Tall Timbers is picky about the quality of its counselors. We are extremely proud of our 4 to 1 camper to staff ratio always focusing on your child's diet, health and well being.

Most of all, we're here to have fun. Because that's what summer camp should be!

Camp Tall Timbers is located in High View, West Virginia, just outside Winchester, Virginia. We are only 2 hours from the Washington, D.C., Baltimore metro areas. The camp is situated in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of West Virginia, giving children plenty of opportunities to grow and learn in a well-supervised, highly positive environment. The naturally wooded setting features great trails for hiking, biking and horses and our own private lake. Our modern facilities support our active camp agenda. With our mountain board course, baseball diamond, batting cage, gymnasium with weight room, riding stables, soccer fields, basketball and tennis courts, roller hockey facilities, riflery range and so much more there's never a dull moment or an opportunity for a camper to be bored.
